I was excited to learn that the first restaurant we visited in Guangzhou served goat kabobs. It tasted pretty good, but I felt a little dizzy the following morning.
It is pretty bad that nothing surprises me on Marcus' diet! What a pretty smile Ivy has. I love the sister pics. The transitions looks like it is going great. I know that Gift is going to be a great help to ya'll and the best big sister that Ivy could ever have.
I am so happy that Ivy is doing so good. I can't wait to see ya'll when you get back with her. Tell Gift that she if the most beautiful big sister that a little girl could ever have. Ya'll take care and hurry home soon. Ya'll are in my prayers. Lots of Love!
Hey guys! I am so glad that things are going so good for you now I know that you had a rocky start but all of you look a lot happier. School was not to bad today and your kids did not eat Judy alive she said she thought that they were still checking her out. Love you, Laura Bowers
Seems to be a lot of "mystery meat on stick" over there. I want to see you choke down some Chihuahua dumplings or rat-n-noodles! Good luck on your gastro-intestinal fortitude quests.
Dude that actually sounds pretty tame. If it is a semi-recognizable animal and especially one that is found either on a typical farm, or standing on the hood of a 1978 Plymouth in a yard in East Texas than it does NOT qualify as exotic. Now if you were to eat any part of the goats lower intestinal tract than we can talk.
OH MY! I am so happy to see those smiles. Not just smiles, but, it appears, ecstatic laughter. She is just adorable! Gift looks like she is having a blast. I'll warn Hannah Montana of her competition. Marcus, I agree with Rodney- I want to see some braised rat on a stick! I love checking the blog to hear of the latest food adventure! Glad to see Ivy's development is progressing well. They really catch up fast. Can't wait to get my hands on her. Love to you all!
Marcus must have a cast iron stomach!!
ReplyDeleteSooo glad to see Ivy smiling....it makes all those tears worth it. You are in the home stretch now, so enjoy your last few days.
All the best,
Beth, Greg and Jenna
Gag. Goat cheese- yum. Goat's milk-- maybe. But the goat...

I'm working on a few new recipes for you to try when you guys get back to Texas. Del Rio for the girls - but something "special" for you, Marcus!!

Goat doesn't sound too bad after the video of the squid/octopus. Heehee!
ReplyDeleteFrom your previous post: "...a Subway next door..." and you get Goat on a Stick? What, all the "Yellow-bellied Weasel Pie" gone? :)
