We all got a good night's sleep last night. Ivy and Gift went to sleep at 8 and both woke up at 6 am. It's now 6:25 am and Ivy's not screaming. She ate a big bottle and is in Gift's lap just talking and playing with her toys. Friends, your prayers are working. Last night we were all just talking about how these girls just don't know how to play or cuddle or do the things we take for granted. They truly have been in a big basket watching the world go on around them. We so appreciate your praying. PLEASE don't stop. Things are getting better for her and I know the Lord is working great things out right now. We have a shopping trip planned with the other families in a few hours, so we'll post later. We love and miss u all.

ReplyDeleteWaahhh! I want a sister for Ava!! Smuggle one home for me. This is such a neat time for Ivy! You're right-- she's probably thinking "Umm... why won't you just put me down? Why are you holding me?" or "zing tao la liang chow"... whatever the translation would be.
ReplyDeleteLoving Gifty loving Ivy!!
Awwww...I just love seeing those precious girls together!! You're going to have to get a recording of the old Irving Berlin song...if you and Marcus don't know it, your mom and dad will....
ReplyDelete"Sisters, sisters, there were never such devoted sisters..." and then -
"All kinds of weather, we stick together,
The same in rain or sun...
Two different faces, but in tight places,
We think and act as one...."
Oops - me again - SO happy to know that Ivy is relaxing and feeling the love that God has been saving just for her! What precious blessings you guys have received!!!
ReplyDeleteLove you-
Jane
