We received a phone call at 11:30 a.m. informing us that Ivy had arrived from the orphanage and was ready for us to come get her. We went one floor up in our hotel to room 1326 where she was waiting with a big smile. She made a great first impression but lost her composure shortly thereafter and has been screaming ever since. She's obviously very scared and confused, but is warming to us gradually.
Please pray that she'll settle down and begin eating.
Ah- a true China doll. She is Beautiful! Still praying. Congrats. Much Love.
ReplyDeletePeeling all those clothes off already, huh? What sweet cheeks she has. I could stare at her for days. Congratulations Mom and Dad and Gift!
ReplyDeleteShe is so pretty! I'm in love! Congrats... it's a whole new world. Will continue to pray for Ivy's bonding- tell her Aunt Cheri already loves her!!
ReplyDeleteI keep going back to this first picture. Seeing that tissue in your hand makes me want to sob - which- I don't do often. I am so happy for you. Thrilled. How many comments? Tons. I forgot to ask you if you can read your email in China.
